- Senior Secondary with 50% marks + 4-Year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)
- Senior Secondary with 50% marks + 2-Year Diploma in Special Education
- Graduation with a 2-Year Diploma in Elementary Education
Additionally:
- Must have qualified CTET (Paper I) conducted by CBSE
- Must have studied Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi/English at Secondary level
